Addressing Anemia: Indian Mothers have a serious health issue and the issue is Anxiety

Iron deficiency anemia is simply the only problem that women have to overcome in India and there is no exception to all other social sections. The piece of writing is about the spreading, beginnings, symptoms, and then it suggests solutions that can be used to overcome anemia among women in the country which is a very difficult health situation.  

Understanding Anemia:   In anemia, red blood cells or hemoglobin count is either normal or low but still insufficient to deliver the required level of oxygen to tissues and the result is tiredness, weakness and other ailments as well. Anemia is yet another issue, among so many others, that takes a heavy toll on the women especially from India. The impact does not only show on themselves, but it also brings effects on their marriages.

Prevalence and Causes:   Research indicates that a large population of Indian women from different classes suffer from anemia due to irritated iron deficiencies, poor nutrition, chronic diseases and blood loss at menses. The cultural values and health care access, combined with the obesity factor and the cultural norms, make the issue much more complex and difficult.  

Symptoms and Impact:   Anemia can be seen in any form from mild to severe. Among them can be headings such as tiredness and weakness, dizziness, paleness, missing breath. Indian women have constant anemia that may have different manifestations, sometimes that can really impact their easy work, care taking and social activities.  

Causes:   The various reasons leading to anemia include not only ones that are obvious but also manifold. The regions with a limited resource a nutrition-deficient especially of iron, vitamin B12, and folate; especially in this regions play a great role. Yet, in addition to this chronic diseases and infections in the genetic conditions, also are contributors. In women however, such as monthly blood loss during menstruation and pregnancy complications have a higher incidence.  

Some Initiatives to tackle anemia:  

National Iron Plus Initiative (India):   In India, the National Iron Plus Initiative (NIPI) is a program for which the aim is to reduce anemia, especially among women and children.   National Nutrition Mission (Poshan Abhiyan, India)   Poshan Abhiyan is an Indian National Nutrition Mission which is a national initiative to tackle malnutrition, in particular refer to anemia. The Government of India has launched this project so that the instances of anemia among pregnant ladies, lactating mothers, and children are reduced by targeting interventions like nutritional advice, iron supplementation, and adoption of a balanced diet.  

Conclusion:   The condition of anemia is unpleasantly common among the health of Indian ladies. Mainly through helping people to know the causes, symptoms, and leading to the effects of anemia and putting in place complete strategies that focus the individual and community levels, we can try our best to create a more healthier future for women especially in India.
